Valderose is pleased to
present the NEW Rose Marie rose, an exciting new
introduction from David Austin Roses and Valderose
Gardens. Rose Marie
(AUSome), syn White Heritage is a white sport of the
ever popular Heritage rose of Austin. It was launched
at the Chelsea Flower Show in May of 2003 along with the
newest of the David Austin collection.
Rose Marie is named for the
spouse of the owner of Valderose Gardens.
Production has already started in many parts of the
world and limited quantities were offered in
the fall of 2003 in Europe with later introductions
planned for the U.S, Australia, etc.
A limited quantity will be available in the spring of
2004 in Canada.
The white flowers of Rose Marie exhibit a light touch of
pink in the cooler periods of growth and it has been
noted that the variety has more fragrance than Heritage.
It is an outstanding addition to the white roses offered
by David Austin and will blend well and will provide
lots of colour throughout the growing season. |
